Westchester RiverWalk of Hope Fundraiser… Who’s Coming?

Not too long ago my brother Todd and I were exchanging messages on Facebook, brainstorming a charitable event fundraiser to benefit the orphans of Haiti.  He mentioned hiking the entire Appalachian Trail and I thought it would be a great idea. After spending a little more time with it we realized that it could be just as effective doing[.....]

Does HTML5 and CSS3 Have a Future?

If you find yourself bored of reading about Fashion week, Google Buzz, and Tiger Woods check out the bickering going on within the web development community over “Adobe’s secret hold” on HTML5.  It’s like a bunch of kids on the playground arguing over who was a better Center Fielder: Willie Mays or Ty Cobb (wow, I even[.....]

What Was Your Favorite Super Bowl Commercial?

Every year a lot of focus is placed on the commercials at the Super Bowl, both from the perspective of advertisers and viewers.  Super Bowl XLIV was no different. Dumping millions of dollars into a :30 second spot might not seem prudent with respect to ROI given the state of our economy, but I’m still[.....]

The February Social Mashup

This month I was rather spontaneous about a blogging project I had in mind. Although not entirely a new concept, I decided to ask my friends and following through all of my social networks including my blog to offer whatever they had to offer. Whether it be original or something interesting they found on the web. I then wanted to quickly absorb what I received and turn it into a creative writing piece. Although I only got a few submissions I’m sure that this little exercise will grow.

It took me forever how to learn CSS sprites on my own. I am a do-it-yourself kind of guy, and I’ll admit, I would probably be better served asking for help a little more often.
